What is a "pattern" in DB.Life?
A pattern is a page in your body's wiki. It names a trigger, a response, and every time you've noticed the two together. Think: "Coffee on empty stomach → urge to defecate within 15 min." Every time it happens, you attach a quick observation, and the page gets smarter. How is this different from Apple Health or Oura?
Apple Health and Oura read sensors. DB.Life reads your attention. It captures the observations about your own body that no device will ever see — and, if you want, lets you compare them across generations in your family. Can I use this without any wearable?
Absolutely. Manual logging is a first-class citizen. Connect wearables only if you want to.
Family & sharing
What does "family graph" mean?
A tree of the people you add — partners, parents, grandparents, children. Relationships let DB.Life surface pattern matches across generations, with your explicit permission. Can a family member see my patterns without asking?
No. Every pattern starts private. You flip it to Family only when you decide. What happens if I die?
You decide in advance, per pattern. Options are: keep sealed forever; transfer ownership to a designated next-of-host; share with family. Triggering requires a death certificate, a 90-day inactivity signal, and your next-of-host's confirmation — three locks, not one.
