What your Oura misses

Dear Oura (and Whoop, and Garmin, and everyone else making beautiful silicon): we love you.

You noticed our sleep onset time better than we ever did. You flagged the heart-rate spike of a fever before the thermometer agreed. You gave us the words "deep" and "REM" for things our parents just called "tired."

But you do not see:

— that screens past ten make me foggy the next day, even when my score is 85. — that three days of dairy shows up on my chin. — that my knees know the weather. — that coffee on empty still works on me at 36 the way it did at 16. — that my sister has Sunday-evening anxiety; so do I.

These are the other eighty percent of what my body is telling me. We built DB.Life to catch them.
